Amanda O’Hara was in Municipal Court yesterday morning for a few misdemeanor charges.
According to Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty, O’Hara was causing a disturbance in the courtroom, so an officer had her sit in the hallway on a bench to wait for another officer to pick her up.
O’Hara though, walked right out of the building.
Local Resident Jimmy Sesto spotted her near the Market Street Bridge and alerted authorities.
She was then arrested by the Brooke County Sheriff’s Office and now faces a felony escape charge.
