For the first time in a long time, the economy in West Virginia is looking up, that was a big topic of discussion at yesterday’s policy and progress meeting as the Business and Industry Council stopped in Wheeling.
They made a stop in Wheeling to see where the city stands on issues and what different legislation can help the economy get better.
Wheeling is also a very diverse place when it comes to the local economy, which makes understanding the area even more important for legislators who may not be there often.
As things continue to grow economically in the state, legislators and local business owners are basically looking to work hand-in-hand to continue to promote that growth throughout all parts of West Virginia.
This is just the start of the tour for the Business and Industry Council, who will hit up other parts of the state over the next few weeks.
