The Wheeling Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash on interstate 470 eastbound.

The crash involving a motorcyclist and an SUV happened near the I-70 / I-470 split, last night.

The accident shut down the road for some time overnight, as a reconstruction team was called to the scene. The identity of the victim has yet to be released.
