Wintersville Fire Department and EMS were first on the scene at Bates Amusement when they received a call that a man was pinned under a drag racing vehicle. He suffered trauma to his head and chest.

The heavy rain did not allow for them to fly him out. EMS decided to transport the man by ground to a Pittsburgh area hospital.

The status of the man’s injuries is unknown at this time.
