Third Ward Councilman Eric Timmons took to social media to discuss issues with residential trash pick-up. Things escalated from there when Timmons included in the post that if things don’t change, he will pick the trash up himself and dump it in front of the city building.

This didn’t set well with several council members and Timmons was told that if he follows through with his plan, he would be arrested.

Councilman Timmons is upset with how pickup has been handled so far.

City Manager James Mavromatis is planning to send a crew to the affected areas on Friday to pick up the trash.
