A Glencoe husband and wife are in the Belmont County Jail.

Karen Sue Ellen Neff and Keith Dwayne Baratie Senior both face numerous charges for allegedly taking money from the Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Belmont County Sheriff Dave Lucas said a year-long investigation has turned up evidence that they misappropriated at least $282,000.

It all came to light when people complained that the cemetery’s upkeep had become almost non-existent.
