96th House District State Representative Jack Cera participated in a town hall meeting at the Martins Ferry Public Library last night.
Several issues and topics were discussed during the course of the evening, including the opioid epidemic, education, the possibility of the ethane cracker plant being built, and infrastructure issues.
Another topic that Cera discussed was expanding broadband service to rural areas to keep them up to par with the urban areas. Cera expressed how important broadband internet access is.
The Ohio House recently passed a bill that if it goes into law, will provide $100 million over two years to help expand broadband service in areas of the state that have very little or no broadband access.
