This morning starting at 7 and continuing throughout the week; weather permitting, workers will be resurfacing streets in the La Belle neighborhood. The roads affected include Reserve Avenue, South Bend Blvd. Ridge Avenue, Belleview Blvd. and Pittsburgh Street.

The city has contracted with Sheely & Sands Inc. of Rayland, OH to do this project and it is funded using .7% City Income Tax Revenue and the Ohio Public Works Commission Funds.

 

According to the West Virginia Division of Highways Sunday through Friday October 12th there will be lane restrictions on WV 2 at various locations from Follansbee City Limits to Mahan Lane.

Two way traffic will be maintained at all times.

The lane restrictions are for NLS Paving Company to preform shoulder and pavement repairs.

Motorists are advised to slow their speed down and expect delays while traveling in that area.
