The Ohio County Solid Waste Authority is suspending its recycling program.

People who rely on the bins at Oglebay and Clearview must now look elsewhere.

Tammy Bonar, executive director, Ohio County Solid Waste Authority, says the bins weren’t being used properly; often times construction debris and regular garbage were being dumped into them.

The solid waste authority will now look for a solution as it tries to bring back a program that is only used for recycling things the right way.

There is no timetable as to when these services will be restarted.
