Even though the Ohio River is receding, that’s not the only concern for residents in Belmont County.

One of the creeks in Bellaire has spilled over its banks, flooding part of Ohio State Route 147 near Klee’s Crossing.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there is more than a foot of water on the roadway and they are discouraging anyone from driving through.

Drivers can use Sand Hill Road to get between Route 149 and Route 147.

Also, the on/off ramps for Southbound SR 7 for SR 150 in Rayland are closed due to flooding, estimated time of reopening is unknown.
