Residents in Follansbee were startled last night by three large explosions and alerted authorities.

Follansbee police say they believe the source of three loud booms to be M80s and other fireworks set off by a juvenile who was using Riverview Avenue to try and avoid being caught. The explosions were heard even in Wellsburg.
