Steubenville Police tased and arrested a man Saturday night after he ran from officers. 27-year-old Laquan Jones was arrested after he abandoned his vehicle and fled his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Police stopped Jones’ car in the 1300 block of Belleview Boulevard for a loud muffler on his car.

Three juveniles including Jones ran from the vehicle to the 400 block of Maxwell Avenue. There he was tased and arrested. Jones faces charges of failure to comply, obstruction, possession of marijuana, failure to signal and stop and a was issued a citation for his loud muffler.
