A man wanted for leading officers on a dangerous car chase through Jefferson County last week has been arrested after another chase.

Marcus Ford was caught Wednesday evening in Carroll County near Nome Road and State Route 39.

He was turned over to Columbiana County officials since he was wanted on assault and other charges there.

Last week, Ford traveled more than 50 miles throughout Jefferson County before his vehicle got stuck in some mud in Hammondsville, but he escaped when he took off on foot.

Once Ford faces his charges in Columbiana County, he will be prosecuted in Jefferson County.
