New details have developed in the trial for a Belmont County woman accused of drug trafficking near a Shadyside school.

After a second day of testimony by witnesses for the prosecution, Stacey McCabe-Heathcote decided to plead guilty.

During opening statements, the defense questioned the reliability of the witness. However, the surprise plea sent the jurors home.

McCabe-Heathcote faces up to 18 months in prison, she will be sentenced in November.
