Former Moundsville mayor and councilman Kevin Mark Simms, 63, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of illegal drug distribution. According to a press release from U.S. Attorney Bill Powell’s office, Simms is charged with one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute Oxycodone and three counts of aiding and abetting in the distribution. Simms is accused of distributing oxycodone in Marshall County from July 2017 to December 2017.

Simms faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $1,000,000 for each count.
