Body Identified as Missing Wheeling Woman

Two bodies found near the Beckley, West Virginia area have been identified as Wheeling’s Trevor Vossen, 27, Lauren “Lulu” Cree-Jenkins, 27.

The W.Va. State Medical Examiner’s Office identified Vossen’s remains on Aug. 27, and Cree-Jenkins’ identity was confirmed on Wednesday morning.

According to a release from the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, the case has been updated from a missing person’s case to a homicide investigation.

Jenkins was 5 months pregnant. No suspects or persons of interest have been named.

Meanwhile deputies are still looking for a White Honda Accord with a W.Va. license plate 73K-986.
