A Belmont County mother has gone from being a person of interest to being a suspect.

Tabitha Gallagher of Flushing disappeared with her boyfriend, Wesley Burdge, and their two small children just before authorities were about to arrest Burdge for child porn.

That was Oct. 11.

At that point, Tabitha Gallagher was not facing charges.

Now, nearly three weeks later, with no trace of the family or their silver Honda Odyssey, Belmont County officials feel Gallagher isn’t just an innocent victim–she’s allegedly an active participant in their disappearance.

The warrant against her is for obstructing justice, which is a felony.

Sheriff’s investigators have turned up information indicating that one of the children has a serious health issue that requires treatment.

They also believe, because of Burdge’s alleged propensity for child porn, that the children are in serious danger.

Authorities nationwide are searching and the FBI and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children are also involved.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
