Following the Wheeling parade on Friday evening, the parade route suddenly turned to a crime scene around 8:30 p.m. A high-speed chase took place in downtown, spanning 16th Street to the 1700 block of Market Street.

27 bags of what law enforcement believe to be methamphetamine were also tossed from the vehicle.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident and the car was eventually stopped in Center Wheeling.

Two people were initially arrested but three are now in custody with fleeing, possession and intent to deliver charges.

Those involved include: 29-year-old Keith Williams of Aiken, South Carolina, 19-year-old Larry Thomas of Aiken, South Carolina and 32-year-old Kenneth Woodson of Columbus, Ohio.

This case is still under investigation by Wheeling Police Department and the Drug Task Force.
