A fire broke out on Harvey Street in Mingo Junction right before 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon.

Mingo Junction, Steubenville, and Brilliant fire departments all responded to the incident.

Four people were home at the time the fire broke out and were able to get out safely. They told officials there was a portable heater on at the time of the incident.

Mingo Junction Fire Chief John Wright said the fire was contained by 3:30.
