The United Steelworkers Union will be counting votes Thursday in Pittsburgh.
Members are voting on a new contract with ArcelorMittal steel, including the plant in Weirton.
The tentative agreement between the steelmaker and the USW was reached Nov. 2.
That announcement came after bargaining between the two sides began in July.
A strike authorization was approved by the 15,000 steelworkers’ members at 13 ArcelorMittal plants in September, but a strike was not called.
The union and company reached a proposed 4-year agreement. Results are anticipated sometime Thursday afternoon.
