Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust in Belmont Co.

A Belmont County man is facing felony charges of drug trafficking and possession after a traffic stop.

James Leroy Hoskins was stopped by the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office when officers found a quarter pound of crystal meth under his front hood.

The stop happened on Interstate 70 eastbound near mile marker 207.

His bond is set at $30,000.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted in the stop.
