Medical Marijuana Dispensary Holds Open House in Wintersville

Ohio Valley Natural Relief opened its doors for an open house last night. The medical marijuana dispensary gave potential patients an inside look at the facility. Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust in Belmont Co.

A Belmont County man is facing felony charges of drug trafficking and possession after a traffic stop. James Leroy Hoskins was stopped by the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office when officers found a quarter pound of crystal meth under his front hood. EPA Completes Environmental Review of Ethane Cracker Plant

On Thursday, the Ohio EPA completed its environmental review of PTTGC America’s proposed ethane cracker plant that would be located in Dilles Bottom. Less than a week after it issued an air permit, the EPA issued modifications to the wastewater discharge permit. Fire Breaks Out at Follansbee Home

Fire crews from Follansbee, Hooverson Heights, and Wellsburg responded after a fire broke out at a home on the corner of Neville St. and Linden Ave.  last night around 8:30. Neighbors said they heard an explosion just before the fire started. One woman was home at the time of the fire, and she and her dog were able to make it out safely.
