Three female teachers at Bridge Street Middle School in Wheeling have filed a gender harassment lawsuit against Joseph Kolb, principal of the middle school, the Ohio County Board of Education, the superintendent and the assistant superintendent.

The lawsuit accuses Kolb of using his employment to harass them.

In their complaint, they listed several examples of inappropriate conduct, including making sexual comments such as remarks about their appearance and walking in on one of them using the bathroom.

The women say they had brought their concerns to the board of education but were not satisfied with the board’s response.

The plaintiffs are demanding a trial by jury for compensatory damages for psychological and emotional distress.
