One man is in custody after a 2-hour standoff in Triadelphia yesterday afternoon.
Police departments responded to what they believe was a domestic situation shortly after Noon.
Deputies also believed that a gunshot had gone off. When police arrived, the suspect barricaded himself in the home, which was located on Submarine Road, right off National Road near Valley Grove.
National Road was closed off for about 3 hours while this was happening for safety reasons.
Police were in communication with him and tried to negotiate with him for about 2 hours.
When it became apparent that the suspect would not listen, the special response team was called in.
It safely got to him and took him into custody. Police are not releasing a name just yet.
