Several Martins Ferry homes have been without water for days, and according to residents, this isn’t the first time this has happened.
The most recent incident involved a water break last week that crews are still fixing. The Belmont County Water and Sewer District said it’s a low pressure area and there were issues locating the 10-inch break.
Fresh water is being provided to affected residents at the Colerain, Sunset Heights and Yorkville fire departments. Residents must provide their own containers. The Belmont County EMA also has a water tanker set up on Treadway Road.
