Police are searching for an inmate that escaped from the Harrison County Jail Saturday night.

According to Harrison County Sheriff Ron Myers, 32-year-old Jason Groff escaped the jail Saturday night, slipping out a door and through an open gate. Sheriff Myers also said that last night a Cadiz Water Department truck went missing, and that it is a possibility that Groff took it. The truck is a red Ford with a white tailgate.

Police have searched several residences and areas for Groff but have not found him yet. He was originally arrested for failing drug tests.
