The first annual Summer Artisan and Music Festival was held over the weekend in Moundsville.

A variety of fun events brought residents out to enjoy the festival, including an obstacle course, a caricature artist, wrestling, and several local bands, including Robert Dodrill and Hit Play.

David Seum, Festival organizer, is pleased with how the inaugural festival went this year and hopes to bring back some older local festivals and traditions in the future.

Seum is grateful for how this year’s festival turned out, citing the sponsorship of local businesses and the outpouring of support from the community as key to lifting the festival up.
