If you’ve driven down 2-Mile Hill in Ohio Co. recently, you may have noticed a change in the pavement.
The road was recently covered in anti-skid pavement. It bonds to the original pavement and basically keeps tires from sliding or spinning out.
The pavement starts at the Cabela’s exit, and extends down around the curve at the bottom of the hill.
Ohio County Sheriff Tom Howard has been pushing for this for a long time. Howard says he hopes to put in a few more preventative measures in the future.
