While the Coronavirus has not yet made it into West Virginia, people in the area have been tested.
According to Marshall County Health Department Administrator Tom Cook, one person has been tested in Marshall County– another has been tested in Ohio County.
The tests have been sent to the state’s bureau of public health, and the patients have been quarantined.
West Virginia is currently surrounded by states with cases, and Cook believes the state will see them soon.
Cook says the test results should be back in 4-5 business days, which could mean an answer late this week or early next week.
