The East Liverpool Nurse’s Association went on strike, beginning yesterday morning. The strike is due to position vacancies at the hospital, which creates poor working conditions for the nurses, as well as potentially compromised care for the patients. The nurses had previously extended their contract with the hospital twice with no changes. The nurses will remain on strike for three days.
